Sport at Gleeson

Gleeson College believes sport is an excellent vehicle for students to develop a number of core values which align with the College’s ethos therefore we aim to provide all students with the opportunity to participate in a range of sporting activities. Students are encouraged to play sport for Gleeson College and/ or local community teams.

Gleeson College participates in regular competition with Sports Association for Adelaide Schools (SAAS) and South Australian Catholic Secondary School Girls Sport Association (SACSSGSA) as well as School Sport SA – Statewide Sports Knockout Competitions (when numbers and interest permit).

Gleeson College holds its annual Athletics Carnival in Term 1 and students will have the opportunity to compete in the SA Catholic Secondary Schools Co-Educational Athletics Association Carnival, School Sport SA Swimming Championships and South Australian Catholic Secondary School Girls Sport Association (SACSSGSA) Swimming Carnival.
